Daisy Gilardini is one of the few women wild life photographers specializing in polar regions. With her companion, watercolorist David Mc EOWN, they took advantage of a trip accompanying tourists from Ushuaia to the Antarctic Peninsula aboard the Akademik Ioffe polar ship to complete new works while teaching tourists the basics of photography and watercolour painting in a spectacularly wonderful setting.
