Marguerite Bays: How To Be A Saint?

Blessed Marguerite Bays is just about to become a saint. First beatified by John Paul II in 1995, she will be canonized by Pope Francis in Rome on October 13. The seamstress became the tutelary spiritual figure of Siviriez, a village located in Glâne, Switzerland. Her birthplace quickly became a place of pilgrimage and every 27th of the month, the parish church is crowded by the faithful who made the journey in memory of her death anniversary. Our journalists take a look back on all the stages of the creation of the campaign in favour of her beatification, including the miracles recognition procedure and the stigmas of Christ she endured over her hands throughout a part of her life.
