It took Raymond Jaunin 40 years to complete the magnificent 17-meter sailboat he built with his own hands. Between Switzerland and Majorca, he kept his childhood dream alive for years, refining his plans, his achievements and a potential round-the-world trip. But too much work and a separation gained the upper hand. As a result, the shipyard froze for decades. At 78 of age, Raymond decided to resume the work, but the obstacles kept piling up. Following the pandemic, he overcame a stroke and even had to sell his house to finish his boat.
